Wedding themes are a great way to set your wedding reception and ceremony apart from the usual, as well as a nice opportunity to showcase your creativity. Wedding themes are becoming increasingly popular and a lot of couples choose them based on some affinity with their passions in life, or to commemorate their commitment to an activity they take part in.

When you plan your theme wedding, you need to consider the important things that need to represent the theme. There are the invitations, dresses, tuxedos and menus, decorations and the location. Although cost is a factor in planning a theme wedding, you can for the most part choose wedding themes that allow you to make many things yourself. As soon as you know you are getting married, you can start planning the perfect wedding and begin browsing through wedding themes until you find the one for you.

comprise of a bouquet of mixed flowers, tropical flowers and bright colors.

Bridal magazines are full of ideas for theme weddings. Carrying out the theme can be just a small touch, such as wearing an antique or reproduction gown, or a full-scale production in which guests are asked to come in costume.

If you can't think of a theme wedding favor idea, one good way for you to start is to think about things that are included in or that reflect the theme. For instance, if you are having an Asian theme wedding, there are great Asian wedding favors available all over the place including the internet that all have Asian designs. Some of these samples include fortune cookies, chopsticks and take-out boxes and there are a lot of beautifully designed favors with these designs at even dollar stores these days. Some of my favorites are a fortune cookie place-card holder, a silver take-out box that has the names of the couple engraved on it.
